Rising from the Ashes: A Journey of Hope

My life has been a testament to resilience, marked by immense struggles and profound loneliness. Yet, through perseverance and faith, I've emerged stronger and wiser. I've battled not just external challenges, but also the demons within—abandonment, feeling unwanted, and seeking love without understanding its meaning. But I was never truly alone; faith guided me, holding me up when I stumbled.

A Beacon of Hope for At-Risk Youth

Today, my nonprofit organization is a lifeline for those who, like me, have stood at the edge of society. We believe mental health is a necessity, especially for vulnerable youth. Our mission is to reach out to children slipping through the cracks, burdened by invisible battles. We see them, we hear them, and we're here to show them there's another way.

Naomi is a Houston native, serves in full-time ministry at Houston First Church of God. As a disciple of Jesus, she shares his love, helps others grow spiritually, and guides them in faith.

As Spiritual Director of Heartwood Academy, Naomi prays for the ministry, its members, and the broader community. She also serves on nonprofit boards, participates in business networks, and raises funds for local causes, advocating for positive change.

In her spare time, she enjoys running and singing, which bring her both clarity and reflection.
